Cookie Policy

Last Updated: July 1, 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how DigiVite.in uses cookies and similar client-side storage technologies (such as local database objects or script parameters) to support your user experience, retain personalization options, and secure authorization flows.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your browser or device by web application servers. They allow websites to remember your device, preferences, and authorization credentials across different pages and sessions.

3. Cookies Used on DigiVite.in

We use cookies categorized under the following scopes:

A. Essential Cookies (Strictly Required)

These cookies are required to establish secure navigation and log in to user accounts. Disabling them will prevent core platform services from functioning.

  • Session Cookie (PHPSESSID): Retains authentication status, user ID, display ID, and active controller role. Deleted when browser is closed.
  • CSRF Token (csrf_token): Used to validate forms, check POST payloads, and prevent cross-site request forgery attacks.

B. Functional Cookies (Personalization)

These cookies remember selections you make to improve readability and visual consistency across the platform.

  • Theme Preference (theme): Saves your preference for light or dark mode. Lifetime: 1 year or until cleared.

C. Performance & Caching

We use client-side storage to improve template loading times, such as caching configuration values and database counts locally to limit database fetches.

4. Third-Party Tracking

We do not allow third-party behavioral tracking or ad network cookies on our platform. The event maps displayed on invitations rely on standard embedded layout coordinates which do not profile guests.

5. Managing Cookie Settings

Most browsers let you accept, reject, or delete cookies. You can manage these parameters directly in your browser's options. Note that restricting essential session cookies will prevent you from signing in to the DigiVite creator panel.

You can also review or update cookie consent choices at any time in your Privacy Settings panel.
